What the check covers

The duties that actually get sponsors revoked.

Reporting — the clock matters

  • 10 working days: a worker doesn't start, 10+ days' unauthorised absence, salary below the CoS, role or work-location change, you stop sponsoring
  • 20 working days: change of address, name or structure; mergers; insolvency; convictions of key staff

Records & right-to-work

  • Right-to-work checks completed before employment starts, with follow-ups for time-limited visas
  • Appendix D records per worker: CoS, contact and address, role/salary/duties, NMC and other registrations, payroll
  • Role genuinely matches the CoS occupation code — a top revocation trigger
  • The expanded right-to-work checks in force since 1 October 2026 (now reaching contractors and gig workers)

How it works

Audit, fix, then stay ready.

1

Readiness audit

A fixed-fee review of your sponsored workers and records against the full Home Office checklist.

2

Close the gaps

You get a prioritised remediation list, plus deadline trackers and a record vault set up so nothing slips.

3

Ongoing co-pilot

Optional monthly plan: reminders, record checks and a quarterly review, so you stay audit-ready.

Who's behind it

Built by an engineer, not a law firm.

[Your name]

I build systems that make messy compliance reliable. I started Licence Ready because the care providers I spoke to weren't losing licences through bad intent — they were losing them to missed deadlines and missing paperwork. That's an admin problem, and admin problems are fixable with the right checklist and reminders. I'm not a law firm, so I'm a fraction of the price — and for anything that needs legal advice, I'll point you to a regulated adviser.

Pricing

A fraction of a solicitor's fee.

One-off
from £750

Readiness audit — the full gap report, deadline trackers and record vault, delivered. I find at least three real gaps, or you don't pay.

Ongoing
from £99/month

Compliance co-pilot — reminders, record checks and a quarterly review to keep you audit-ready.

For comparison, an immigration solicitor's one-off compliance audit runs around £4,500, and managed compliance £495–£695 a month. Set against the cost of a revoked licence — your entire overseas workforce — this is cheap insurance.

Questions

The things you'd ask first.

Is this legal advice?

No. Licence Ready is a compliance record-keeping, reminder and audit-readiness service — it helps you meet your own sponsor duties. It is not immigration advice, which is regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority. For legal questions on visas or applications, I'll point you to a regulated adviser.

Is the readiness check really free?

Yes — the score, the breakdown and your specific gaps are shown on this page, free, with no sign-up. The paid part is the audit, where I verify everything against your real records and set up the trackers.

What's the "three gaps or you don't pay" guarantee?

If a paid readiness audit doesn't surface at least three genuine compliance gaps worth fixing, you pay nothing. It's a promise about the work — not a guarantee that your licence can never be challenged.

How long does the audit take?

A readiness audit for a small provider is typically turned around in a few working days, depending on how many sponsored workers you have.
